Beach Moon

Sometimes something else pushes its way to the front. Went to see Top Gun at the beach on Wednesday with my friend Michelle and the moon was one of those humungous and orange moons! Had to make a painting. Was a great night by the way! If you are looking for something fun to do (and at no cost) check out movies at Granada Beach in Belmont Shore Wednesdays after sunset. Gots to go back to see the Goonies in a couple weeks!

Been a while since I used oils. Set up a still life for my friend and I to paint from so she could learn some oil painting ABC's. Feels good!
